Over the weekend the Australian Resuscitation Council presented Dr Richard Aickin with a certificate marking his induction onto the ARC Roll of Honour and the ARC Medal.
Dr Aickin was awarded with these two honours on the basis of his outstanding contribution to the Australian Resuscitation Council, New Zealand Resuscitation Council, International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation.
In his role as chair of the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation (ANZCOR) from 2014-2021, Dr Aickin has been pivotal in establishing and strengthening the relationship and collaboration between the Australian and New Zealand Resuscitation Councils. During this time he lead the development and dissemination of ANZCOR guidelines and supported the shift to a continuous evidence review.
Congratulations Richard, thank you for your contributions to both the ARC and the broader field of resuscitation.
